Job summary

The ideal candidate holds a Master's in SLP with Virginia licensure and CCC, and has 1–2 years of experience with neurogenic and swallowing disorders, including MBS/bedside evals.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an ASHA‑accredited program.
• Licensed SLP in Virginia or eligible; CCC from ASHA required.
• 1–2 years of clinical experience in neurogenic/swallow disorders.
• Experience with swallow studies (MBS) and bedside assessments.
• Ability to supervise students and mentor staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide therapy for patients with complex communication and swallowing disorders.
• Schedule, select assessments, interpret results, and document care.
• Develop long- and short-term goals; educate patient/family and staff.
• Lead student supervision and contribute to department projects.
• Participate in research activities with mentorship as needed.
