Job summary

Tower Health is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist to evaluate and treat patients across the rehabilitation continuum within its Reading Hospital network. You will assess speech, language, voice, fluency, and dysphagia, and implement therapy programs according to established practices.

Responsibilities include communicating results to patients, families, and other professionals, participating in hospital and community activities, and supervising assistants and students as needed.

Qualifications

• Master's degree is required for the role.
• At least 1 year of experience preferred in speech-language pathology.
• PA Speech Language Pathologist license is required.
• ASHA CCC in Speech-Language Pathology within 90 days of hire.

Job Summary

Speech language pathologists evaluate patients referred for appraisal of speech, language, voice, fluency, and dysphagia, carry out therapy, as appropriate, communicate results to patients, parents and other professionals, and participate in various Hospital or Community related activities. Evaluates, plans and implements treatment programs for referred patients according to accepted principles and practices of Speech Therapy. Supports all programs in the Rehabilitation Continuum. Maintains working relationships with Hospital leadership, physicians, nurses, case managers, social workers, allied health professionals, ancillary services, and hospital support personnel. Supervised by and reports to Therapy Manager or Senior Therapist. Supervises assistants, aides, and students.
