Johns Hopkins Medicine in Maryland is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist specializing in Pediatrics-Acute Care to join our hospital team. You will evaluate patients, plan evidence-based treatment, and implement therapeutic programs aligned with patient goals.

You will document assessments and progress, educate families and staff, and collaborate with the medical team to ensure high-quality care. A Clinical Fellowship completion is preferred, with current state licensure and CPR certification

Formación

• Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology required.
• Current state licensure in Speech-Language Pathology required.
• ASHA CCC preferred; CPR certification required.
• Infant feeding/swallowing experience expected.

Responsabilidades

• Evaluate patients and plan therapeutic programs for pediatric acute care.
• Provide assessments and treatment activities with patients.
• Document assessments, progress notes, and educate families and staff.
• Support patient goals and contribute to medical management with the team.

The Speech Language Pathologist specializing in Pediatrics-Acute Care:

• Provides evaluation, program planning and treatment referred to Speech Language Pathology.
• The job duties are to provide assessments and treatment activities with patients.
• Provides documentation of the above and education to patients, families, hospital staff, and students.
• Ensures that all patients are supported in reaching their maximum potential through high-quality care and contributions to medical management provided by the Speech-Language Pathologist, while also promoting the therapist’s ongoing professional growth and contributions to the medical center.

Shift: Full time- 40 hours per week- Dayshift- Monday -Friday

Work Experience

• Successful completion of Speech Language Pathology Clinical Fellowship
• Infant feeding/swallowing experience required.
• Acute care experience preferred.

Education:

Required Licensure, Certification, Etc.

• Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Current State licensure as Speech Language Pathologist required
• Certificate of Clinical Competency from the American Speech-Language Hearing Association preferred.
• Current CPR certification.

Salary Range:

Minimum $34.62/hour - Maximum $57.19/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
