Overview

This is a Riley Children’s Health Speech Pathologist position within the Indiana First Steps program providing early intervention services to infants and toddlers ages birth-three and families in the home or community environment. Travel is required. Experience, or interest in developing clinical skills, related to infant feeding and swallowing is preferred. Opportunities exist for set schedules ranging from 24-40 hours per week.

  • Requires 0-3 years of relevant experience.
  • Requires graduation from an accredited academic program in speech pathology.
  • Requires current licensure in the state of Indiana.
  • Requires Basic Life Support certification through the AHA.
  • May require credentialing for certification as an early interventionist.
  • Requires a certificate of clinical competence awarded by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) or eligibility for this certificate.
  • Advanced life support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies.
