Job summary

Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Las Vegas is seeking a Speech Pathologist to evaluate and treat patients with speech and language disorders in an inpatient environment. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement personalized treatment plans and monitor progress.

The role requires state licensure, CCC certification, and CPR (or it must be obtained within 30 days of hire). A Master’s degree is preferred, or a Bachelor’s with relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Current licensure or certification required by state regulations.
• Successful completion of CCC.
• CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Master’s degree preferred, or Bachelor’s degree with field experience.

Responsibilities

• Evaluating, assessing, developing, and administering personalized treatment plans for patients with speech and language rehabilitation needs.
• Identifying issues and modifying speech therapy treatment if necessary.
• Tracking and documenting patient performance, progress, and response to treatment.
• Celebrating patient victories along the way.
