Job summary

Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Middletown is seeking a Speech Pathologist to provide evidence-based therapy for patients with speech and language impairments. You will evaluate, develop, and administer personalized plans in a supportive inpatient setting within a leading national rehabilitation network.

You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, document progress meticulously, and help patients achieve meaningful communication milestones in a compassionate, patient-centered

Qualifications

• Current licensure or certification required by state regulations.
• Successful completion of Speech-Language Pathology Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC).
• CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Master’s degree preferred, or Bachelor’s degree with field experience.

Responsibilities

• Evaluating, assessing, developing, and administering personalized treatment plans for patients with speech and language rehabilitation needs.
• Identifying issues and modifying speech therapy treatment if necessary.
• Tracking and documenting patient performance, progress, and response to treatment.
• Celebrating patient victories along the way.

Education

Master’s degree preferred
