Job summary

Loma Linda University Health is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist to provide advanced patient care, including evaluations, goal setting, treatment planning, and family training, in accordance with practice acts and department policy.

The role involves inpatient care per physician orders, coordination with MTU or school representatives, participation in case conferences and discharge planning, and supervising CCS-paneled staff as needed.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech Pathology or Communicative Disorders required.
• Nine months of experience in a medical speech pathology or rehabilitation setting required.

Responsibilities

• Provides advanced patient care including evaluations, goal setting, treatment planning, family training and application of treatment techniques.
• Provides inpatient care as per physician's orders.
• Supervises CCS-paneled staff as requested when applicable.
• Participates in case conferences and discharge planning meetings.
• Coordinates recommendations for ongoing therapy and equipment needs with MTU or school representatives.
