Job summary

Progressive Rehab Solutions is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (ST) to join our on-site clinical team in Waco, Texas. The role focuses on diagnosing and treating speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders, and developing therapy plans to maximize communication and swallow safety.

The ideal candidate holds a Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, is licensed to practice in Texas, and has CCC-SLP eligibility or certification.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• CCC-SLP certification preferred; required for eligibility.
• Current state license to practice as a Speech Therapist.
• At least one year of clinical experience preferred.

Job Summary

Diagnoses and treats patients with speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders. Develops therapy plans to maximize communication and swallowing safety.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Conduct diagnostic evaluations of speech, language, swallowing.
• Develop and implement therapy plans.
• Document evaluations, treatment plans, and progress notes.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Speech‑Language Pathology from an accredited program is required.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC‑SLP) preferred; required for eligibility.
• Current state license to practice as a Speech Therapist, maintained in good standing.
• At least one year of clinical experience is preferred.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

• Expertise in communication and swallowing disorders.
• Strong documentation skills.
• Ability to educate patients and families.

Physical & Environmental Requirements

• Assist patients during therapy activities.
