Job summary

Geisinger Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital is seeking a Speech Pathologist to evaluate and treat patients with speech and language needs in an inpatient setting. You will work within a compassionate team to deliver tailored therapy using up-to-date methods and technology in a nationwide rehabilitation leader.

Applicants must hold current state licensure, CCC, and CPR (or obtain within 30 days). A Master’s degree is preferred, or a Bachelor’s with relevant field experience.

Qualifications

• Current licensure or certification required by state regulations.
• CCC certification (Certification of Clinical Competence) required or in process.
• CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Master’s degree preferred, or Bachelor’s degree with field experience.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, assess, develop, and administer personalized treatment plans for patients with speech and language rehabilitation needs.
• Identify issues and modify speech therapy treatment as necessary.
• Track and document patient performance, progress, and response to treatment.
• Celebrate patient victories along the way.
