Job summary

University of California, Irvine Health is seeking a Speech Pathologist to provide comprehensive assessment and treatment for speech, language, swallowing, and hearing disorders. The role includes evaluation, treatment planning, and discharge planning, working across UCI Health locations in Orange County as needed.

The ideal candidate will hold a California Speech Pathology License or eligibility, current BLS, and be able to travel to clinics and campus offices as scheduling requires.

Qualifications

• Speech Pathology License or proof of eligibility from California Board of Speech Pathology
• Required to float between UCI Health locations as needed
• If assigned to work with infants and children aged 0 to 21, CCS paneling/approval within one year of hire if qualified for CCS paneling requirement
• Demonstrated experience providing speech therapy to a diverse group of patients
• Current BLS certification
• Ability to travel to clinics, and other campus offices as determined by patient and scheduling needs.
