Job summary

Encompass Health is seeking a Speech Pathologist to evaluate, plan and deliver individualized speech-language therapy for patients in inpatient rehabilitation. You will assess communication needs, develop goals, document progress and adjust treatment as necessary.

Qualifications

• Current licensure or certification required by state regulations.
• CCC certification is required.
• CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Master's degree preferred, or Bachelor’s degree with field experience.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, assess, develop and administer personalized speech-language treatment plans.
• Identify issues and modify speech therapy treatment as needed.
• Track and document patient progress and response to therapy.
• Celebrate patient victories and progress along the treatment journey.
