Adventist Health Columbia Gorge in The Dalles, OR seeks a Speech-Language Pathologist to provide therapy for patients with speech, language or swallowing disorders within a hospital setting serving the Columbia River Gorge community. The role emphasizes assessment, plan review and patient instruction.

Requires a Master's in Speech-Language Pathology, state licensure, CPR/BLS, and a valid driver's license; CCC is preferred and OR/WA SLP credentials may be required for practice in the region.

Formación

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology is required.
• State licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist is required.
• CPR/BLS certification is required.
• ASHA CCC is preferred.
• Valid driver's license and age 21+ are required.
• AHA-BLS/ARC-BLS or CPR certification is required.
• OR-SLP credential required.
• WA-SLP credential required.

Responsabilidades

• Assesses and documents speech therapy data related to patient assessments, care needs, interventions and outcomes.
• Identifies changes and trends in physical and emotional parameters.
• Reviews treatment plans and modifies or writes new programs as needed.
• Maintains documentation as required by law and policy.
• Instructs patients on monitoring speech and practicing skills.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
