Job summary

Encompass Health is seeking a Speech Pathologist to provide inpatient rehabilitation services and help patients overcome speech and language challenges at a national leader in post-acute care.

You will work in a supportive, collaborative environment with access to cutting-edge technology and opportunities for professional growth, delivering compassionate care to diverse patient populations across our nationwide network.

Qualifications

• Current licensure or certification required by state regulations.
• CCC certification (ASHA-CCC).
• CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Master’s degree preferred, or Bachelor’s degree with field experience.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, assess, develop, and administer personalized treatment plans for speech and language rehabilitation needs.
• Identify issues and modify speech therapy treatment as necessary.
• Track and document patient performance, progress, and response to treatment.
• Celebrate patient victories along the way.
