Responsibilities:

  • Prevent, assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, social communication, cognitive communication, and swallowing disorders in adults.
  • Provide aural rehabilitation for deaf or hard of hearing individuals and augmentative/alternative communication (AAC) systems for those with severe expressive or language comprehension disorders.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Current, unencumbered license to practice speech pathology in the assigned state.
  • Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) with completed graduate coursework and clinical practicum at an accredited program.
  • Current CPR certification.

Preferred:

  • Over one year of experience in speech pathology.

Note: Candidates without CCC certification will be placed in the SLP Clinical Fellow (CFY) position, which involves supervision, hour requirements, and mentoring.
