Job summary

Encompass Health is seeking a Speech Pathologist to provide evaluation and treatment for patients with speech and language needs. You will develop individualized plans, document progress, and adjust therapies to improve communication abilities.

The role supports a multidisciplinary team in a patient-centered, compassionate environment. This position requires state licensure, CCC certification, and CPR, with a preference for a Master’s degree or equivalent field experience.

Qualifications

  • Current licensure required by state regulations.
  • CCC-SLP certification completed or in good standing.
  • CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
  • Master's degree preferred, or Bachelor's degree with field experience.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and develop personalized treatment plans for patients with speech and language needs.
  • Identify issues and modify speech therapy approaches as needed.
  • Track, document, and communicate patient progress and responses to treatment.
  • Celebrate patient improvements and progress throughout the course of therapy.
