Job summary

Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Amarillo is seeking a Speech Pathologist to evaluate, treat, and support patients with speech and language challenges. This role emphasizes creating personalized therapy plans and documenting progress within a collaborative rehab environment.

Qualified candidates hold state licensure/CCC, CPR within 30 days, and a Master’s degree or equivalent experience. We offer a supportive team and opportunities for professional growth in a leading nationwide rehab

Qualifications

• Current licensure or certification required by state regulations.
• Successful completion of SLP Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC).
• CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Master’s degree preferred, or Bachelor’s degree with field experience.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, assess, develop, and administer personalized treatment plans for patients with speech and language rehabilitation needs.
• Identify issues and modify speech therapy treatment as necessary.
• Track and document patient performance, progress, and response to treatment.
• Celebrate patient victories along the way.
