Job summary

Southcoast Health in New Bedford, MA is seeking a skilled Speech Pathologist to join our Outpatient Pediatric Rehab team. This Per Diem position offers day/evening shifts with weekend, holiday, and on-call rotation.

Required: Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, CCC-ASHA, Massachusetts license, CPR certification, and influenza/COVID-19 vaccination (or approved exemption). Experience is preferred and compensation is based on experience.

Hours: Per Diem

Shift: Day/Evening shift with weekend, holiday, and on-call rotation; Hours TBD

Location: Outpatient Pediatric Rehab – New Bedford, MA

Responsibilities

Under direction of individually assigned Team Leader, Rehabilitation Services or designee, perform diversified patient care and related duties within and in support of the Rehabilitation Services Department.

Qualifications

• A Masters Degree in Speech/Language Pathology is required.
• Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC-ASHA) from the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association is required.
• Current Massachusetts License in Speech Pathology is required.
• One (1) year of experience is preferred.
• CPR certification required.
• Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID 19 virus or to be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying you are choosing to be exempt from vaccination once hired.
• Compensation: Pay rate will be determined based on level of experience.

Pay Range

USD $40.80 - USD $61.72 /Hr.
