Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Bakersfield is seeking a dedicated Speech Pathologist to help patients recover communication abilities in a supportive, community-centered environment.

You will evaluate, treat, and track progress using evidence-based methods, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and utilize leading technology within the nation's largest rehabilitation company.

Qualifications

• Current licensure or certification required by state regulations.
• Successful completion of SLP CCC.
• CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Master's degree preferred, or Bachelor's degree with field experience.

Responsibilities

• Evaluating,assessing,developing,andadministeringpersonalizedtreatmentplansforpatientswithspeechandlanguagerestorationneeds.
• Identifyingissuesandmodifyingspeechtherapytreatmentifnecessary.
• Trackinganddocumentingpatientperformance,progressandresponsetotreatment.
