Job summary

Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Amarillo is seeking a Speech Pathologist to join our inpatient team and help patients regain speech and communication abilities with compassionate care. You will evaluate, plan, and implement personalized therapy, document progress, and collaborate with an engaged care team in a nationally recognized rehabilitation network.

Qualifications include state licensure, CCC, CPR certification; master's degree preferred or Bachelor’s with field experience.

Qualifications

• Must hold current licensure or certification as required by state regulations.
• CCC certification (ASHA) required or must be obtained
• CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire
• Master's degree preferred, or Bachelor's degree with field experience

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, assess, develop, and administer personalized treatment plans for patients with speech and language rehabilitation needs.
• Identify issues and modify speech therapy treatment as necessary.
• Track and document patient performance, progress, and response to treatment.
• Celebrate patient victories along the way.
