Job summary

Encompass Health is seeking a Speech Pathologist to provide expert evaluation, treatment planning, and ongoing therapy for patients with speech and language needs in an inpatient rehab setting.

The role requires state licensure, CCC credentialing, and CPR certification, with a master’s degree preferred or a bachelor’s with relevant experience. You will join a national leader in post-acute care and have opportunities for growth and ongoing education.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree preferred for Speech-Language Pathologist.
• Bachelor’s degree with field experience acceptable with CCC in scope.
• CCC Certification and state licensure required or to be obtained.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and assess patients to develop personalized speech-language treatment plans.
• Identify communication disorders and modify therapy as needed.
• Track patient progress and document responses to treatment.
• Celebrate patient victories and support progress toward communication goals.

• Successful completion of SLP Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC).
