Now Hiring Speech-Language Pathologists (SLP) – FT, PT & PRN

We’re looking for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to help our patients regain communication, cognitive, and swallowing abilities. Key Responsibilities :

  • Assess patients with speech, language, cognitive, voice, and swallowing disorders.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans with functional, goal-based outcomes.
  • Conduct swallow evaluations and recommend diet modifications as needed.
  • Ensure all treatment plans are reviewed and approved by referring physicians.

Hands-On Speech Therapy

  • Implement therapy interventions to improve communication, cognition, and swallowing function.
  • Train patients in alternative communication strategies when needed.
  • Utilize evidence-based techniques to enhance language comprehension and expression.
  • Develop and implement home programs for continued progress.
  • Work closely with nursing staff, physicians, dietitians, and interdisciplinary teams.
  • Educate caregivers and family members on communication strategies and swallowing safety.
  • Participate in discharge planning to ensure patients’ long-term success.
  • Communicate patient status, progress, and concerns to the rehab team.

Documentation & Compliance

  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of evaluations, treatment plans, and progress notes.
  • Ensure compliance with Medicare and other reimbursement regulations.
  • Record daily treatment charges per approved billing guidelines.
  • Conduct in-services and training for staff on communication and dysphagia management.
  • Participate in performance improvement programs and facility meetings as needed.

Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; CFs welcome to apply!
