Job summary

Sylvan Shores Health & Wellness is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for an in-house rehabilitation program. This PRN role supports advanced treatment technologies and interventions provided by skilled rehabilitation therapists.

Ideal candidates hold a Texas SLP license, have completed an accredited program, and demonstrate exceptional communication, autonomy, and team-oriented patient care. Knowledge of SNF/long-term care regulations and EMR experience are pluses.

Qualifications

• Texas license required as a Speech Language Pathologist.
• Graduate from an accredited Speech Language Pathology program.
• Demonstrates outstanding communication skills.
• Autonomous, self-motivated, and team-oriented in care.
• Familiarity with Skilled Nursing and Long-Term Care regulations.

Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - PRN

Minimum Qualifications

• Speech Language Pathologist license in the State of Texas
• Graduate of a Speech Language Program from an accredited university
• Truly cares for people and will go above and beyond to provide outstanding patient care.
• Has a passion for therapy and teaching and who has outstanding written, verbal and non-verbal communication skills.
• Autonomous and self-motivated associate that believes in a team approach to problem solving and care.
• Freely shares their ideas and visions and stands up for what they believe in and loves having a positive impact on patient's lives.
• Knowledge of Skilled Nursing and Long-Term Care regulations and general healthcare compliance
• Experience with EMRs (Preferred but not required)
