Position Details

Effective for the 2025-2026 school year, a vacancy exists for full-time Speech and Language Therapist positions within the Division of Student Services for the Chester County Intermediate Unit. This position will serve school-age special education students within the Reading Area School District.

Qualifications

• Valid PDE certification as a Speech & Language Therapist
• Master's degree in Communicative Disorders
• Certificate of Clinical Competence; Clinical Fellowship year considered
• Current police, child abuse, and FBI fingerprint clearances
• Clearance as an MA provider by the Commonwealth of PA and federal government (conducted upon hire)

Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide speech/language therapy services, complete evaluations, and maintain all paperwork for a caseload of students including those in itinerant classrooms.

Salary for 2025-26 School Year

• $69,938 - $106,442, depending on experience, for all SLPs with Master's Degree in Speech Pathology/Communication Sciences Disorders (Track I)
