Job summary

CAMINO REAL COMMUNITY SERVICES seeks a Speech Language Therapist Assistant to support infants and toddlers (birth to 36 months) in the Early Childhood Intervention program in Seguin, Texas. You will deliver services per IFSPs and handle timely documentation, traveling across the service area as needed, often using your own vehicle.

The role requires maintaining a current SLP-A license in Texas and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Must have and maintain current SLP-A license by the State of Texas to practice.
• Must possess a valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
• PREFERRED JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Prior work experience as a licensed Speech Language Pathologist-A.
• PREFERRED JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Experience evaluating and treating infants and toddlers with feeding difficulties.
• PREFERRED JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Prior work experience includes normal child development and intervention techniques for treating developmentally delayed infants and toddlers.
• PREFERRED JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Additional certifications related to treating infants and toddlers.
• PREFERRED JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Prior ECI experience.
• PREFERRED JOB QUALIFICATIONS: English/Spanish skills; demonstrated ability to read, write, and speak English and Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Submits accurate and timely documentation.
• Extensive travel throughout the service area is also required.

• Works under limited supervision with considerable latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment
• Reports to Administrative Supervisor. Team Lead.

• Ability to conduct evaluations and assessments.
• Skills in interviewing; ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
• Ability to supervise the work of others.
• Must have ability to work under conditions requiring physical stamina and ability to work in a stressful environment.
• You must possess good computer skills.
