Qualifications

We are seeking part-time Speech Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) for our Provider Network. This position offers hybrid or onsite work based out of our Huntington Park location.

In this role, you will conduct treatment sessions with a diverse client population, including children and adults, providing skilled speech therapy services for receptive and expressive language disorders, fluency, voice, and apraxia of speech.

Responsibilities include:

  • Providing remote speech-language therapy services
  • Implementing individual care plans via teletherapy or in person
  • Maintaining a caseload of pediatric, adult, and geriatric clients
  • Keeping accurate daily documentation
  • Collaborating with families and professionals to enhance client progress

Compensation:

W2 | $30.00 - $46.00 per hour, based on experience, qualifications, and bilingualism

Minimum Requirements:

  • Completion of an accredited SLPA program approved by ASHA
  • Active SLPA license in California
  • At least 1 year of SLPA experience
  • Experience with language, articulation, pragmatics, and parent coaching
  • Experience in clinics, private practice, home health, outpatient, or teletherapy settings
  • Proficiency in writing SOAP notes
  • Technical skills for teletherapy platforms
  • Comfort working with children aged 18 months and older

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with fluency, behavioral modifications, adults, and AAC
  • Bilingual skills, especially in Spanish
