Job summary

Cole Health's pediatric outpatient clinic in Washington, DC seeks a compassionate Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join our multidisciplinary team. Start part-time around 20 hours per week with opportunity to grow to full-time as caseload expands. Must be registered with DC Health as an SLPA.

You will collaborate with other therapists and receive mentorship to advance your pediatric clinical skills. In-clinic hours with some evenings; flexible scheduling and supportive culture.

Qualifications

  • Must be registered by the Board of Audiology & Speech-Language Pathology through DC Health as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA).
  • Passionate about working with children and families; pediatric outpatient therapy focus.
  • Collaborative and willing to learn from multidisciplinary team; mentorship available.

Responsibilities

  • Provide pediatric outpatient SLPA services in our Washington, DC clinic.
  • Collaborate with Occupational Therapists, Physical Therapists, and Behavior Analysts.
  • Participate in hands-on mentorship and ongoing training to grow clinical skills.
  • Build caseload with growth toward full-time hours over time.

REQUIRED LICENSURE

Must be registered by the Board of Audiology & Speech-Language Pathology through DC Health as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA).

Compensation | W-2 or 1099
  • $40–$50/hour
  • Based on experience and bilingual status

Schedule

Start at approximately 20 hours/week with the opportunity to build toward full-time.

  • Pediatric therapy providedin our outpatient clinic
  • A few evening clinic hours available, with some visits extending until6:00 PM
  • Flexible scheduling designed to support your personal and professional life
  • No school-based or home-health visits—this is an in-clinic position
