Job summary

Sprout and Bloom Therapy Services is seeking a compassionate Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join our Early Intervention team in Pittsboro, NC and surrounding communities. This in-home role focuses on infants and toddlers, delivering play-based speech services under licensed SLP supervision.

You’ll coach families, track progress, and implement personalized plans while traveling to homes across Pittsboro, Siler City, Chapel Hill, Carrboro, and Durham.

Qualifications

• Current North Carolina SLPA license in good standing.
• Experience or strong interest in Early Intervention and family-centered care.
• Ability to travel to homes within Pittsboro and surrounding areas.
• Excellent communication skills; comfortable working independently in home settings.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home, play-based speech and language services for infants and toddlers (0–3).
• Support communication growth through routine-based coaching with parents and caregivers.
• Implement individualized treatment plans under the guidance and supervision of a licensed SLP.
• Track progress and complete documentation in a timely and supportive environment.

What You’ll Do

• Provide in-home, play-based speech and language services for infants and toddlers (0–3).

What We’re Looking For

• A current North Carolina SLPA license in good standing.
• Experience or strong interest in Early Intervention, child development, and family-centered care.
• Someone playful, patient, warm, and excited to support little communicators as they grow.
• Strong communication skills and comfort working independently in home settings.
• Reliable transportation and the ability to travel within the service area.

Bonus skills (not required but wonderful!)

• Bilingual in Spanish, Mandarin, or Cantonese.
• Experience with developmental delays, caregiver coaching, or early childhood programs.
