Description
Monday–Friday · No nights or weekends
At Carolina Pediatric Therapy (CPT), we believe every child deserves the opportunity to communicate, connect, and grow—and the right team can make all the difference.
Are you passionate about helping children find their voice? Do you love celebrating the little victories that lead to big changes? Are you looking for a full-time opportunity where you can build your clinical skills, develop meaningful relationships, and make a lasting impact?
We’re looking for a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join our South Asheville clinic team!
You’ll work one-on-one with children, implementing individualized treatment plans developed by a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP). You won’t be expected to create treatment plans from scratch or navigate your work alone. Instead, you’ll have guidance from experienced clinicians, opportunities to collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, and dedicated time to complete your documentation.
Imagine helping a child practice new words while playing a favorite game. Celebrating when a preschooler uses language to share an idea. Supporting a child as they learn to communicate their wants and needs more independently. Watching a family light up when a skill from therapy begins showing up at home.
These are the moments that make pediatric speech-language therapy so rewarding.
At CPT, you’ll help children build communication skills, confidence, and independence while supporting families as they carry those skills into everyday life. Your work matters, and you’ll be part of a team that recognizes the difference you make.
We want you to understand your earning potential and have a clear path for professional growth.
Enjoy two hours of dedicated documentation time built into each full-time workday, along with access to an AI scribe to help draft your notes.
Receive weekly check-ins with your supervising SLP, ongoing clinical guidance, and opportunities to ask questions, discuss progress, and build confidence in your work.
Collaborate with SLPs, occupational therapists, physical therapists, psychology professionals, and behavioral health clinicians who share a commitment to whole-child care.
Families in our community need speech therapy, and we’ll help you build your caseload step by step while developing your clinical skills and confidence.
Participate in Learning Collaboratives, access continuing education resources, and explore areas of clinical interest. Tuition support may also be available for team members pursuing graduate school.
Work alongside clinicians who share ideas, celebrate progress, and value collaboration, curiosity, and professional development.
We believe caring for children starts with supporting the people who care for them.
As a clinic-based SLPA, you’ll work under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to support the delivery of individualized pediatric speech-language services.
Your responsibilities will include:
At Carolina Pediatric Therapy, you don’t have to be the person creating every treatment plan to make a meaningful difference. As an SLPA, you play an important role in helping children practice new skills, build confidence, and make progress toward their communication goals.
You’ll have the guidance, resources, and team support to do meaningful work while continuing to grow your own skills and professional confidence.
Join Carolina Pediatric Therapy and be part of a team building stronger communicators, empowering families, and helping every child reach their potential.
