Job summary

Milestones Speech And Language Therapy in Palm Springs, CA is seeking an SLPA to support a Speech-Language Pathologist by conducting screenings, preparing materials, and assisting with therapy sessions.

You will help implement treatment plans, document progress, and maintain records under supervision; bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus, and state licensure is required. This is an in-person role with opportunities to collaborate with families.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in and/or graduation from a Speech-Language Pathology assistant certificate program, OR Bachelor’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders with a minimum of 100 hours field work/clinical experience from a Board-approved program

Responsibilities

• Conducts speech and language screenings under the supervision of the SLP and follows documented protocols
• Assists the SLP during assessments and with documentation, materials, and clerical duties
• Prepares therapy materials and equipment, adapts materials to client needs, and maintains records and progress charts
• Maintains a clean therapy environment and supports implementation of care plans
• Collaborates with families, clients, and school staff to monitor progress and carry over activities at home
