Job summary

TactStaff EDU is hiring a licensed Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) for a full-time, onsite school-based position near Midlothian, Texas. This role provides direct services to K–12 students under the supervision of a licensed SLP.

The ideal candidate has a current Texas SLPA license and prior school-based experience or with children. Onsite supervision, collaboration with educators, and a supportive team environment are provided.

Qualifications

• Current, valid Texas SLPA license is required.
• Must meet all applicable Texas requirements to practice as an SLPA.
• Previous school-based experience is preferred.
• Experience working with children or students is preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide speech and language services under the supervision and direction of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist.
• Implement individualized speech and language treatment activities.
• Work with students individually and in small groups.
• Support students on articulation, receptive and expressive language, fluency, social communication, and other communication skills.
• Follow student IEP goals and speech-language service plans.
• Collect data and document student progress.
• Maintain accurate treatment and service records.
• Collaborate with SLPs, special education teachers, general education teachers, and other school staff.
• Support students across classroom and school-based environments.
• Participate as a member of the student\'s educational and related-services team.

TactStaff EDU is hiring a licensed Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) for a full-time, onsite school-based position near Midlothian, Texas. This is an immediate-start opportunity supporting students across K–12 in a collaborative school environment with onsite supervision from a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist.

This is an excellent opportunity for an SLPA who enjoys working directly with students and wants to build their school-based experience while receiving consistent clinical supervision and support.

Speech-Language Pathology Assistant Responsibilities

• Provide speech and language services under the supervision and direction of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist
