Job summary

ProCare Therapy is seeking a dedicated Speech Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join a supportive school district in Bethel, Vermont. This full-time contract position offers the opportunity to work closely with students, helping them improve communication skills under the supervision of a licensed SLP.

Qualifications include an Associate's or Bachelor's in Speech-Language Pathology and an active VT SLPA license or ability to obtain.

Job Description:

ProCare Therapy is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join a supportive school district in Bethel, Vermont. This full-time, contract position offers the opportunity to work closely with students, helping them improve communication skills and achieve academic success under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP).

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct therapy services to students as directed by the supervising SLP
• Implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and treatment plans
• Document student progress and maintain accurate records
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student outcomes
• Assist with screenings, assessments, and other tasks as assigned
• Maintain compliance with state and district regulations

Qualifications:

• Associates or Bachelors degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field
• Active SLPA license or certification in Vermont (or ability to obtain)
• Previous school-based experience preferred, but not required
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
