Job summary

Linden Ponds by Erickson Senior Living is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to support residents with therapy across the on-site continuum of care. You will conduct screenings, evaluations and treatments, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to meet individual needs.

Compensation is $55 hourly with comprehensive benefits including medical, dental and vision, PTO, 401k with match, onsite wellness centers, and education assistance to grow your clinical skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience with the older adult population in therapy preferred.
• Current CPR Certification required.
• Current valid state license for the applicable field (where required).

Responsibilities

• Provide speech, language, swallowing, cognition, or voice therapy screenings, evaluations, treatments and trainings.
• Follow ASHA guidelines, payer requirements, and company policies in care, documentation and billing.
• Provide holistic care supporting residents' physical, spiritual, emotional and clinical needs.
• Implement personal care plans focusing on residents' preferences and routines to provide comfort and belonging.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary clinical team to address residents' needs across continuum of care.

Job description

Location: Linden Ponds by Erickson Senior Living

Join our team as a Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) support our residents with daily living activities, providing personalized care to meet each resident’s needs. With all residents living on campus, you’ll have the opportunity to be a part of their journey throughout their continuum of care.

Compensation: The pay rate is $55 hourly.

How you will make an impact

• Providing speech, language, swallowing, cognition, or voice therapy screenings, evaluations, treatments, and trainings to meet customer needs across the community continuum of care.
• Following Federal, State, and all Payer guidelines, ASHA requirements, and company policies and procedures. Ensuring departmental understanding and compliance in the areas of care provision, documentation, billing reimbursement, resident rights, customer service, and compliance.
• Providing a holistic approach, supporting the residents' physical, spiritual, emotional, and clinical needs
• Implementing residents’ personal care plans, focusing on residents’ strengths, preferences, and preferred routines while providing a sense of comfort, companionship, and belonging
• Working with the interdisciplinary clinical team to ensure the needs of our residents are being addressed throughout their care.

What you will need

• Minimum 1 years’ experience in working with the older adult population related to the therapies is preferred.
• Current CPR Certification.
• Current valid state license (for state in which the community provides service) in occupational therapy Assistant, where applicable.
