Qualifications

• A valid, unrestricted license in the state for the therapy discipline.
• Educational requirements of licensure requirements.
• Valid driver’s license in the state of employment.
• Knowledgeable of skilled nursing home regulations and long‑term care guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Plans, develops, organizes, implements, evaluates and directs the delivery of speech language pathology and audiology services in accordance with state and federal laws and regulations.
• Plans, develops, organizes, implements, evaluates and directs services in line with physician’s orders and ASHA guidelines.
• Coordinates the achievement and reporting of the facility’s SLP and audiology KPIs and establishes ongoing monitoring.
• Evaluates and reports KPI outcomes to the rehabilitation director to determine actions such as re-education or revisions.
