Job summary

Majestic Care of Connersville is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to evaluate and treat residents with speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders in a geriatric care setting. The SLP will develop individualized treatment plans, educate families, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure resident-centered care and optimal outcomes.

A Master’s in SLP, state licensure, and CCC-SLP are preferred; CF candidates may be considered.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required.
• Current state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist required.
• CCC-SLP certification preferred; CF candidates may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of residents’ speech, language, cognitive communication, and swallowing.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Provide therapy for speech, language, voice, fluency, cognitive communication, and dysphagia.
