Blazer Jobs is seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join a school-based team in Fredericksburg, Virginia. Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Valid Virginia SLP license or eligibility for licensure through the Virginia Board of Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology.
• Current CCC-SLP certification through ASHA, or completion of Clinical Fellowship requirements
• Completion of required supervised clinical experience
• Virginia Department of Education (VDOE) Speech-Language Pathology license/endorsement as required for school-based practice
• Knowledge of IDEA, IEP development, and school-based service delivery models
• Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
• Ability to effectively support students with diverse communication needs
• Successful completion of required background screening and district onboarding requirements

Responsibilities

• Evaluate students to identify speech, language, communication, and related needs
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with student goals and IEPs
• Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students across assigned grade levels
• Complete assessments, evaluations, progress reports, and required documentation
• Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with teachers, administrators, families, and related service providers
• Provide evidence-based interventions targeting articulation, language development, fluency, social communication, and other areas of need
• Monitor student progress and adjust therapy strategies as needed
• Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with district, state, and federal requirements
• Collaborate with educational teams to ensure students receive appropriate services and accommodations
• Support an inclusive learning environment that encourages student growth and independence

About the Position
