Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) ‐ School

Start Date: 7/28/2025     Available Shifts: 7 D   Pay Rate: $1891.33 ‐ $2072.41

AMN Healthcare is partnering with a well‐respected school district in Stone Mountain, Georgia, to hire a highly motivated and passionate Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for a contract position. The SLP will work closely with students, teachers, and parents to provide comprehensive speech and language services supporting students' academic and social development.

Responsibilities include:

  • Conducting assessments and evaluations to identify speech, language, and communication disorders in students.
  • Developing and implementing Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) with goals for students with speech and language needs.
  • Providing direct therapy services to students in individual and group settings throughout the school year.
  • Monitoring and documenting student progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
  • Providing training and resources to teachers and staff on integrating speech therapy goals into the classroom.

School assignments are typically nine months but may vary. We aim to support your professional growth and well-being throughout your assignment.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Master's Degree in Speech Language Pathology (SLP) or related field
  • State license required to start
  • Experience: New grads accepted, CF SLP encouraged to apply
  • 1 reference in entire work history

Preferred:

  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
  • Previous experience in schools, early childhood, or pediatrics
  • Strong knowledge of speech and language development, assessments, and therapies
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively and maintain confidential records
