Job summary

Ro Health is seeking a qualified Speech-Language Pathologist to work in a school setting near Trenton, North Carolina. The role involves assessing and treating speech, language, and swallowing disorders across a school caseload, with a focus on helping students achieve measurable goals.

The position offers an in-person schedule, typically 1-2 days per week, with competitive pay at $50/hour or more. Start date ASAP along with comprehensive benefits and support from the Ro Health team.

Qualifications

• Current NC state SLP license in good standing.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• State and contract-specific compliance requirements.
• Relevant SLP experience.

Responsibilities

• Assess speech, language, and swallowing disorders across ages using standardized tests, observations, and interviews.
• Develop individualized treatment plans with measurable goals tailored to each client.
• Provide therapy for articulation, fluency, language delays, and related disorders.
• Offer counseling and support to clients and families regarding communication disorders.
• Train and integrate assistive communication technologies when appropriate.
• Conduct screenings to identify at-risk individuals and implement preventive measures.

Overview:

Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments to evaluate speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders in individuals of all ages.
• Use standardized tests, observations, and interviews to gather information for diagnosis.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment results, setting specific and measurable goals tailored to the needs of each client.
• Provide therapy to individuals with speech and language disorders, including articulation disorders, fluency disorders, language delays, and language disorders.
• Provide counseling and support to individuals and their families, addressing emotional and social aspects of communication disorders
• Integrate and train individuals in the use of assistive technologies that can enhance communication and daily living
• Conduct screenings to identify individuals at risk for speech and language disorders and implement preventive measures

Qualifications:

• Relevant SLP experience
• Current NC state SLP license in good standing
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• State and contract-specific compliance requirements
