Flexible Part-Time School-Based SLP Opportunity
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join an elementary school team in Columbus, Ohio. This part‑time role offers the opportunity to work with a manageable caseload while helping students develop essential communication skills that support academic and social success.
The Speech‑Language Pathologist will perform evaluations, provide direct therapy services, maintain documentation, and collaborate with educators and families to support student achievement.
Conduct speech and language evaluations and screenings.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
Provide direct speech‑language therapy services to students.
Document therapy sessions, progress, and outcomes.
Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions.
Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families.
Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as appropriate.
Maintain compliance with federal, state, and professional practice standards.

Interview Process: Interview with Special Education Director, Melissa
Required
Active Ohio Speech‑Language Pathologist License.
Ability to perform evaluations, treatment planning, and therapy services.
Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills.
Compliance with all federal, state, and local requirements.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Preferred
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC‑SLP).
Previous school‑based or pediatric experience.
Current CPR Certification, if applicable.
Current Health Certificate, if required.
TB Questionnaire, PPD, or Chest X‑Ray, if required.
Pay Rate: $70.00 per hour
Estimated Weekly Gross: $1,400
Overtime available in accordance with applicable policies.
