Job summary

Amergis is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist for school-based services. The role requires evaluating students and delivering therapy per the individualized plan of care and physician orders.

The position is travel-based and occurs in school settings, with responsibilities to document outcomes and progress. Applicants must hold an active SLP license in the assignment state; CCC-SLP is preferred and may be mandated by state or contract.

• Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice.
• CPR current if applicable.
• TB questionnaire/PPD or chest x-ray if applicable.

• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Job description

The Speech-Language Pathologist in the school setting is responsible for performing student evaluations as well as providing and documenting therapy services in accordance with the plan of care developed for each individual student and the physician’s orders.

Minimum Requirements:

• Active Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) Licensure in the state of assignment required


• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred and may be required by state/contract.


• Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice


• Current CPR if applicable


• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable


• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)


• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements


• Must be at least 18 years of age
