Job summary

E-Therapy is seeking a Part-Time Remote School Speech-Language Pathologist to serve K-12 students nationwide. The role offers flexible scheduling and starts at $48/hour, commensurate with experience.

Licensed in Utah and experienced with pediatric school settings, you will conduct assessments, design therapy plans, deliver teletherapy, and collaborate with teachers and families in a fully remote environment.

Qualifications

  • Licensed UT Speech-Language Pathologist.
  • Experience providing speech-language therapy in school or pediatric settings.
  • Proficiency with assessment tools and pediatric therapy techniques.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration with students, families and school staff.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of students' speech, language, and communication abilities.
  • Develop individualized therapy plans and goals based on assessments and student needs.
  • Provide direct teletherapy services targeting articulation, language, fluency, and pragmatics.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational team members to support goals.
  • Incorporate evidence-based techniques and activities into therapy sessions.
  • Monitor progress and adjust therapy plans to achieve optimal outcomes.
  • Document therapy sessions and progress.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and provide input on communication needs.

  • Licensed: Active Utah Division of Occupational & Professional Licensing in Speech and Language Pathology License

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of students' speech, language, and communication abilities.
  • Develop individualized therapy plans and goals based on assessment results and students' needs.
  • Provide direct therapy services to students, targeting areas such as articulation, phonology, language comprehension, fluency, and pragmatic skills.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other members of the educational team to support students' communication goals in the classroom and other educational settings.
  • Incorporate evidence-based techniques and therapeutic activities into therapy sessions to promote speech and language development.
  • Monitor students' progress and adjust therapy plans as needed to facilitate optimal outcomes.
  • Document therapy sessions, progress reports, and other relevant information accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Participate in IEP (Individualized Education Program) meetings and provide input regarding students' speech and language needs.
Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Utah Division of Occupational & Professional Licensing Speech Language Pathology License
  • Experience providing speech-language therapy services in a school or pediatric setting.
  • Proficiency in assessment tools and therapeutic techniques commonly used in pediatric speech-language pathology.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with students, parents, and school staff.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Experience in teletherapy or online counseling (preferred).
  • Knowledge of augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) systems and other assistive technology used in speech-language therapy (preferred).
