Job summary

PAM Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Westminster is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide direct care in an acute hospital setting. • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Current SLP license in the state where practice is located.
• Current BLS certification.
• ASHA CCC-SLP preferred or as required by state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and develop individualized speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing treatment plans.
• Provide direct therapy in accordance with established clinical standards and best practices.
• Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as appropriate.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, therapists, and other members of the interdisciplinary team.
• Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans, strategies, and recommendations.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Contribute to the continued growth and development of speech therapy services.
• Remain flexible and responsive to the needs of the hospital and the patients we serve.

What You’ll Do

The Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) is responsible for providing direct patient care and developing and implementing individualized treatment programs based on each patient's needs, goals, and condition.
