Role Responsibilities:
  • Perform patient assessments
  • Provide care according to physician’s orders and established care plans
  • Assess treatment effectiveness and modify as needed to meet goals
  • Plan for patient discharge, communicate with patients, families, caregivers, and healthcare team to optimize rehabilitation outcomes
  • Participate in performance improvement and program development activities
  • Contribute to budget planning to enhance cost-effectiveness of services
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Disorders, or similar, acceptable to the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)
  • Possess or be eligible for a Certificate of Clinical Competence from ASHA or participate as an ASHA Clinical Fellow (CFY)
  • Licensed or eligible for licensure in the state
  • Current Basic Life Support/CPR certification

Salary: $50 per hour, with potential for variation based on circumstances.
