Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited master’s level program in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • At least six months of experience with adult and geriatric populations.
  • Current, unrestricted Speech-Language Pathologist license.

What you will do in this role:

  • Help patients recover and improve by providing therapy to enhance speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing abilities.
  • Communicate patient progress or issues to supervisors and team members; assist with patient scheduling and post charges daily to records.
  • Document patient care in compliance with regulatory, licensing, payer, and accrediting standards.
  • Instruct family members or nursing staff on follow-through programs.
  • Maintain equipment and work area in a safe, clean condition.
  • Perform responsibilities in accordance with the Company's Code of Business Conduct, compliance standards, professional standards, and applicable laws.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an accredited master’s level program in Speech-Language Pathology or meeting ASHA certification requirements.
  • Meet the education and experience criteria for ASHA Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology or Audiology.
  • At least six months of experience working with adult and geriatric populations as a Speech Therapist/Speech-Language Pathologist.
  • Current, unrestricted Speech-Language Pathologist license in the state of practice.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours and weekends.
