Job summary

Select Specialty Hospital in Madison is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist for a Per Diem role. Compensation is $50 per hour with a $5,000 sign-on bonus.

The unit focuses on acute rehabilitation addressing brain injuries, spinal injuries, neurological disorders, and orthopedic trauma. Housed inside Select Specialty Hospital - Madison, the SLP will evaluate patients, develop and implement therapy plans, and coordinate with other services.

Qualifications

• Current state licensure as Speech Language Pathologist required.
• Certified CLS or completion in first 90 days of employment required.
• CCC certification from ASHA preferred

Responsibilities

• Evaluates all assigned patients and develops, implements and modifies treatment plans.
• Delegates and directs all therapy services for assigned patients.
• Designs functional treatment programs to support return to community activities.
• Educates patients, families, students, and colleagues about therapy plans and progress.
• Coordinates treatment with other clinical services and community resources.

Minimum Qualifications

• Current state licensure as Speech Language Pathologist required.
• Certified CLS or completion in first 90 days of employment required

Preferred Qualifications

• Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech Language Pathology from the American Speech-Language & Hearing Association preferred
