Job summary

Regency Hospital - Central Georgia in Macon, GA is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for a per diem/PRN role. You will provide comprehensive evaluations of communication and swallowing, and deliver goal-oriented treatment to support maximum communication potential.

A current state license is required; BLS certification or completion within 90 days of employment is required. A $5,000 sign-on bonus is offered as part of the package.

Responsibilities

  • Provide a comprehensive evaluation of communication skills and/or swallowing function and deliver goal-oriented treatment to maximize communication and swallowing potential.
  • Collaborate with Rehab Therapy staff to monitor service quality and participate in peer review for staff performance and appraisals.
  • Assist in development of SLP programs and services and revise departmental policies and procedures.
  • Maintain adequate stock of supplies and share professional knowledge with the team.

Schedule: Per Diem/PRN/As Needed

Compensation: $55.00 per hour

Sign-On Bonus: $5,000

  • Assists in the development of the SLP role in programs and services, as well as revising the departmental policies and procedures.
  • Assists in maintaining an adequate stock of supplies.
  • Exhibits willingness to share professional knowledge and experience. Alerts the Manager to educational needs
Minimum Qualifications
  • Current state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist required.
  • Certified BLS or completion in first 90 days of employment required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech Language Pathology from the American Speech-Language & Hearing Association.
