Speech Language Pathologist

Regency Hospital - Macon is a critical‑illness recovery hospital committed to providing world‑class inpatient post‑ICU services to chronically and critically ill patients who require extended healing and recovery. We help patients during some of the most vulnerable moments of their lives.

Location: Macon, GA | Schedule: Full‑time, Monday–Friday | Compensation: $33.00–$51.00 per hour

Responsibilities
  • Take initiative, responsibility, and action every day; understand physical, mental, psychological, and social needs of patients.
  • Provide comprehensive evaluation of communication skills and/or swallowing function; deliver goal‑oriented treatment to facilitate maximum communication and/or swallowing potential.
  • Collaborate with associates to provide quality interdisciplinary patient programming.
  • Participate with staff in monitoring quality of services provided by the Rehab Therapy Department.
  • Engage in peer review for staff performance and appraisals.
  • Assist in developing the SLP role in programs and services and revising departmental policies and procedures.
  • Maintain adequate stock of supplies.
  • Share professional knowledge and alert Manager to educational needs.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Current state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.
  • Certified BLS or completion of BLS within first 90 days of employment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech Language Pathology from the American Speech‑Language & Hearing Association.
