Role Responsibilities:

• Perform patient assessments
• Provide care according to physician’s orders and established plans of care
• Assess treatment effectiveness and modify as needed
• Plan for patient discharge and communicate with patients, families, and healthcare team to achieve rehabilitation goals
• Participate in performance improvement and program development activities
• Contribute to budget planning to enhance cost-effectiveness
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Speech-Language Pathology or related fields acceptable to ASHA
• Possess or be eligible for a Certificate of Clinical Competence from ASHA or be eligible for ASHA CFY
• Licensed or eligible for licensure in the state
• Current Basic Life Support/CPR certification
