Responsibilities
  1. Perform evaluations and treatments for patients with speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders based on physician orders/referrals.
  2. Complete comprehensive evaluations using appropriate tools and procedures.
  3. Review patient records for diagnosis, medical history, and precautions.
  4. Establish measurable goals and develop treatment plans to maximize patients' speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing abilities.
Qualifications
  • Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Current, unrestricted license as a Speech Language Pathologist in the practicing state.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification as per state regulations.
  • Minimum of one year of experience as an SLP.
  • Knowledge of rehabilitation techniques for complex neurological injuries.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
