Qualifications

• Must hold a Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in Indiana.
• Master's degree from an accredited Speech-Language Pathology program.
• ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) preferred/required as applicable.
• Current BLS certification.
• Strong clinical judgment and communication skills; patient-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents and develop individualized speech-language therapy treatment plans.
• Provide evidence-based therapy addressing communication, cognition, speech, and swallowing.
• Monitor progress, update goals, and modify treatment plans as appropriate.
• Conduct swallowing assessments and dysphagia interventions as indicated.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team for rehabilitation outcomes.
• Educate residents, families, and caregivers on strategies to support communication and safe swallowing.
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with standards.

Shady Nook Nursing and Rehab is seeking a compassionate and dedicated PRN Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our rehabilitation team in Lawrenceburg, IN. What You'll Do:

• Evaluate residents and develop individualized speech-language therapy treatment plans

• Provide evidence-based therapy interventions addressing communication, cognition, speech, and swallowing needs

• Monitor resident progress, update goals, and modify treatment plans as appropriate

• Conduct swallowing assessments and provide appropriate dysphagia interventions as indicated

• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to support coordinated and effective rehabilitation outcomes
