Role Responsibilities

• Provide therapy to enhance speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing abilities, aiding patient recovery and confidence.
• Communicate patient progress or issues to supervisors and team members; assist with scheduling and documentation.
• Document patient care in compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards.
• Educate patients’ families and nursing staff on follow-up programs.
• Maintain equipment and work environment in a safe, clean condition.
• Adhere to professional standards, company policies, and legal requirements.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program or meeting ASHA certification standards.
• Meet the requirements for ASHA Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology or Audiology.
• At least six months of experience working with adult and geriatric populations.
• Current, unrestricted Speech Language Pathologist license in the state of practice.
• Current CPR certification.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
